Today it is my delight to share a book with you that holds a special place in my heart. It is called, F.A.I.R.I.E.S.: Baptism by Fire, and it is written and illustrated by my old friend, M. C. Pearson. However, as with most of her friends, I prefer to call her Mimi. Several years ago, we exchanged drafts of our novels for critique purposes. Knowing Mimi, I expected something highly imaginative and exciting, but her novel set me back on my heals. It was a blast! As you can imagine, I was excited to learn that her wonderful novel was finally being released.

As a youth minister, I am often asked for recommendations on quality books that parents can trust and their children will love. F.A.I.R.I.E.S.: Baptism by Fire, has earned my highest endorsement.
